Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, password record, age, country, language, purpose for using Humanual, and an optional phone number. We also store your assessment answers, calculated scores, generated report, sharing choices, report feedback, referral and reward activity, support tickets, and basic product events such as assessment completion or link views.

2. Why we use it

We use this information to authenticate your account, generate and save your Humanual, create links you approve, provide comparisons and coaching prompts, operate referrals and rewards, answer support requests, prevent abuse, maintain security, and understand whether the product is useful.

3. What becomes public

Nothing becomes public merely because you finish an assessment. A public page is created only after you choose an audience, select exact report sections, preview the result, and approve publishing. Public pages may contain your approved display name, report title, scores, identity wings, and selected instructions. They do not include your account email, phone number, age, password record, raw answers, private chat, or support history.

4. Sharing controls

You can create different links for professional, networking, friendship, partner, family, or general audiences. You may revoke a link. Anyone who already copied or captured public information may retain that copy, so review every preview carefully before publishing.

5. Security

The private-beta service encrypts selected personal identifiers at rest, hashes passwords using scrypt, uses random HttpOnly session cookies, restricts cross-origin requests, applies request and rate limits, and separates public profile data from private account records. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected access or privacy issues immediately through the in-product support form.

6. Analytics, affiliates, and advertising

Humanual records first-party product events to measure completion, sharing, referrals, link views, and support workload. Affiliate resources, when introduced, will be labeled. Humanual should not sell assessment answers or private reports to advertisers, and paid recommendations should not alter assessment results.

7. Retention, export, and deletion

You can download a copy of your account data and request account deletion from Privacy & Control. Deletion removes the account and associated private-beta records from the active datastore, subject to short-lived operational backups, fraud-prevention records, legal obligations, and information already copied by people who viewed a public link.

8. Adults-only beta

The current public beta is intended for people age 18 and older. Kids Mode is a design concept and must not be used to create independent child accounts until Humanual implements parent-managed consent, child-specific privacy defaults, moderation, and a dedicated legal and safety review.

9. Sensitive decisions

Humanual is a reflection and communication product. It is not medical advice, a psychological diagnosis, a background check, or a safety assessment. Scores and comparisons must not be used as an automatic basis for hiring, firing, credit, housing, education, dating safety, parenting rights, or excluding someone from a relationship.

10. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the product and infrastructure change. Material changes should be communicated inside the service. During the private beta, contact Humanual through the in-product support form. Before public launch, an active privacy mailbox and legal entity details must be added here.
